You must continue to pay your rent during Alert Level 4. You may have heard that a “rent freeze” has been introduced at this time. The rent freeze, which Accessible Properties supports, means your rent will not be increased. It does not mean you don’t have to pay your rent.
We understand that the current situation might be causing financial difficulty, and assistance is available. Please contact your tenancy manager immediately or contact Work and Income on 0800 559 009 to see what support you might be eligible for.
