Employers who are eligible for support receive this payment. The employer then pays the employee. Unless you are an employer, do not apply directly for this payment.

There are NO stand down periods during lock down, meaning once approved you will get paid the following week.
If you the need an IRR assessment due to a drop in income, you should contact MSD and request a rent review.
From 1 April 2020 all main benefits will increase by $25.00 in addition to already announced rate changes (3.09%).
The Winter Energy Payments have been doubled this year and start 1 May 2020 as per normal dates.
