In January Accessible Properties Tauranga invited 150 of our Pukehinahina/Gate Pa tenants to tell us about their community – the level of engagement people had with their neighbourhood, people’s perceptions of safety, and what they saw as the key challenges facing their community.
We also wanted to let tenants know about the priorities identified for Pukehinahina/Gate Pa during a 2018 strategy workshop with a small group of tenant community leaders and find out whether people supported these priorities.
We are extremely pleased with the response we received and later this month we will be talking again with tenants about what we learned and the next steps we will take regarding our Pukehinahina/Gate Pa priorities.
