Lesley Morrell, who nominated Hazel, says she’s an all-round excellent neighbour.
“When she bakes or cooks a roast she brings some over for each of us, and she is an excellent cook. Her roasts with lots of veges are wonderful and her cakes and desserts are delicious.
“She also looks after the small complex we are in. She makes sure the gardens in the communal spaces are well cared for and any rubbish is cleared away. Most importantly she makes sure we’re okay if she hasn't seen us around.“
