Congratulations to Leon and Steven from Papatoetoe! Nominated by their Tenancy Manager, Eileen, they have shown incredible patience and positivity while their home undergoes major bathroom renovations. Despite relying on temporary outdoor facilities, they have been exceptionally welcoming to all the tradespeople coming and going.
Leon and Steven receive support from IDEA Services,with their Support Worker, Romita, playing a key role in their daily lives.During our visit, Leon prepared a lovely lunch (Steven was at work), and we hadthe chance to see some of the fantastic artwork and crafts they have created.
We also learned that Steven has won an impressive number of ribbons and medals in the Special Olympics!
