COVID-19 update

Earlier today, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern made a number of announcements regarding the current impact of COVID-19, including further restrictions on work.

The Government is suggesting a move towards working from home and changing our practices to ensure we don’t contribute to the virus spreading.

The IHC Group is committed to abiding by these new restrictions to ensure the safety of the people we support, our staff and our friends and families.

We have a number of people we support who are 70 or older or who have compromised health as defined by the Ministry of Health: https://covid19.govt.nz/

If you want to visit someone in our services, please call ahead and talk to a manager. If you think you might be able to help by either having a family member at home or in some other way please talk to us.

We have to take these critical steps to try to slow down and reduce the spread of COVID-19.

It is everyone’s responsibility to protect people’s health and to ensure our health system can cope and look after New Zealanders that become sick.

Please note we will not be receiving visitors to our offices from Wednesday 25 March. You can contact National Office by phone 04 472 2247 or 0800 442 442. Other contact details can be found here.

We expect to make further announcements in the next couple of days.

Please continue checking our website for the latest updates.
